Happy Anniversary!

Aww, youth! Don't we look relaxed, young and in love? Fast forward 20 years and we're sitting in a HOT gym watching our oldest son play a basketball game - what a difference 20 years makes! = - ) We celebrated the special day in the midst of moving, a Mexico mission trip, a "Serve the City" youth camp, work, school forms and a championship basketball game.
We also found time to squeeze in a taping of the finale for "America's Got Talent" and you can see us at the end of our row singing along with Kermet! We were very happy that Terry won - he is amazing!
David's church youth group team made it to the championships!
Sadly, they came in 2nd! It was a VERY close game and they had a great season!

So, Sabra Can Dance!

Go Sabra! Our favorites were Danny and Sabra and I'm very happy Sabra won - she deserved the title. We went to the performance show just before the finale and it was AWESOME!! That's us on the TV screen - Jennifer's holding the green poster for Danny and I'm behind her to the left. Our friends Bethany (J's right) and Luke (behind J and B) were with us, too.
Here's a better shot of us! Do you like Jennifer's sign? "Danny's on the HOT tamale train." It was a great show and we were very fortunate to be in the audience because it's a difficult ticket to get. All tv show tickets are free, but if the show is popular the tickets are hard to come by. We were able to get 4 priority tickets because Jennifer noticed a spelling error on a tv show ticket website, emailed the website tech guy about the error and he was so thankful that he asked if there was a show she wanted to go to - and that's how we were in the audience! = - )

Happy Birthday Uncle Phillip!

Just before the big birthday celebration we visited Phillip's new apartment.
Dinner was at Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney.
Couple pics: Phillip/Bobbi and Mom/Dad. = - )
Time for the volcano dessert and a birthday song!
Happy 32nd B-Day!
Loved the aquarium and the very friendly fish.
A short visit to the Lego Store was a must.

Staying Cool in the Summer Heat

David and some of his friends staying cool in the pool.
Our poor tube wasn't able to handle all the weight of 3 teenage boys and it popped! = - (
Night time swimming is the best - seems like the pool is full most evenings.
David continues to enjoy jumping off the wall into the pool - even looks like he's walking on the water!

Art Academy Fun

Our Church is sponsoring a summer art academy this week and I'm working at it off and on all day while our 3 youngest are part of the camp. I'm the official picture taker and here are a few pics from the games portion of camp. 1) making lemonade in the mouth 2) just a cute picture of Angelica's new haircut. = - )
Jennifer get ready to stick her head in the "kitty litter" to find a piece of kitty "poop." It was really dry cereal and tootsie rolls. Matthew finished a hand full of refried beans during the "pull some type of food out of the bag and eat it quickly" team relay. I'll add some workshop and finale pics later on this week.
