Days 1 and 2 - Laughlin, Nevada

We started our 2008 summer vacation with the traditional visit to Quickly for our last taste of boba milk tea for the next 3 weeks.

Our handy dandy Trip Tik from AAA and David's first chance to drive on the interstate- he was tired after an hour of driving! = - )

Life was fun until we hit a major traffic jam that lasted for more than an hour.

We finally found out why there was a traffic jam - a brush fire on the side of the interstate. We arrived in Laughlin late at night and boy was it HOT!

We stayed at the Colorado Belle.

The next morning Matthew LOVED the WARM pool - thankfully there was shade to sit in while Matthew swam - it was HOT!

For lunch we enjoyed the Harrah's buffet and it was almost as good as the Rio in Vegas.
