Pics from FL trip!

One of the mass band rehearsals with high school marching bands from all over the USA (over 2000 participants all together with cheerleaders, dancers, color guard and band members).

Pep talk from the Gator Bowl mascot before the Gator Bowl Parade on New Year's Eve day.

Marching in the Gator Bowl Parade in Jacksonville, FL.

The many trophies won at the New Year's Eve party that evening. Because Arcadia won 1st place in the field show competition they won the right to march in the Pre-game show at the Gator Bowl.

There they are marching during the pre-game!

During the Gator Bowl half-time, all the bands came together and performed some Beach Boys songs with the cheerleaders, dancers, twirlers and color guard each performing their own shows.

The next day, the band headed to Orlando, FL for some fun at the Magic Kingdom. They also marched at Disney World! = - )

Mr. Landes looked like he had fun and the band definitely had the trip of a lifetime!

All too soon it was time to go home.

Gator Bowl Parade

The Arcadia Marching Band is in Jacksonville, FL for the Gator Bowl and marched in the Gator Bowl Parade today.

Here they come...almost 400 strong!

Thankfully I was able to find these pictures on the internet and just took a picture of the picture.

There's a picture of David in the top left corner.

Apparently the streets were more narrow than usual so it was a challenge for Arcadia with such wide lines and such a huge band.

They look great and I hope to be able to add video when I can find it.
