Happy 7th Birthday Tigger and Toby!

Memories... our kitty cats were born May 1, 2002 and they are 7 years old now. We adopted them when they were a few months old, but met them when they were a few days old.

They were SO adorable!

Through the years...still cute and cuddly. They even took a picture with Thomas the guinea pig (rip, Thomas).

Tigger's Gift

Our kitty cat, Tigger, brought us another gift the other day - yes, it is a dead squirrel that he killed and BROUGHT INTO OUR HOUSE....AGAIN!!! YUCK, YUCK, YUCK...! After his hard day of hunting he turned cute again and took a nap in one of our baskets. Cute!

Stuck on the Roof...Again.

Yep, Tigger was stuck on the roof again! We trimmed the tree that he kept climbing to get on the roof, but he found another way to get up. The problem is that he can't get down and then meows his head off for hours asking to get off the roof!

The 2 Matthew's came to the rescue by borrowing Matthew's ladder.

Jennifer climbed up on the roof and threw Tigger off - you'd think he'd get the point and not climb on the roof! You can watch a short video of the rescue. = - )

Cute Kitty Update

Our two cats (Toby and Tigger) love to sit together and look out the screen door.

T&T Party Highlights

Tigger and Toby enjoyed their "wet catfood" birthday feast. 364 days a year they eat dry iams weight control catfood (the weight control is for Toby, but it doesn't seem to help).

They really love the wet stuff and Toby was very curious about their birthday gift.

It was a "bug chase" game and they seem to like it.

At first they did the normal "cat thing" and acted like they could care less, but a few minutes later Toby started chasing bugs! = - )

Happy 6th Birthday to Toby and Tigger!

Our first visit with Tigger and Toby - they were only a few days old and so precious! = -) A month later they came over for a visit and took a picture with their brother-to-be, Thomas the guinea pig. (we adopted T&T from Kathy's mom when her cat gave birth to them - T&T are brothers and were born on May 1, 2002).

Here they are at 4 months old and so cute.

Angelica and Jennifer loved playing with them and thought they were their babies.

Now they are 6 years old and would never tolerate playing "dress up."

They are very close brothers and still spend lots of time together.

We love you Tigger and Toby and thanks for being our favorite kitties (even when you barf hairballs and get stuck on roofs).

Our Cat Has Issues

Our cat seriously has issues! Tigger likes to climb up on our roof, but guess what...he can't get down. Each time he does this Matthew usually comes to his rescue sometime during the day because his meowing is so annoying.

Well, this time we decided to wait him out and make him figure out his own way down. Guess how long we lasted? Three days and nights! Tigger basically lived on our roof for 3 whole days with no water or food. = - (

During the middle of the 2nd night he started cat howling and we tried to get him down at 2:00 am (hope we didn't wake the neighbors).

David almost had him, but Tigger was afraid of the edge and fought back.

Finally Angelica and I rescued him. Angelica grabbed him on the top of his neck and held on for dear life until she was able to throw him off the roof! Tigger landed on his feet, walked away in a huff, turned around and started purring and then happily jumped in our arms for some love and attention. He also enjoyed his first meal of cat food and water. Thankfully, he hasn't gone back on the roof since.
